Plans, organises, directs, controls and coordinates the deployment of quality systems and certification processes within an organisation.
What you will do
Analysis and improvement of all working procedures related to production and quality improvements.
Working together with the Business Teams to optimise the processes and systems to achieve yield targets
Identify, investigate, analyse and report non-conformance
Drive continuous improvement activities to maintain/improve yield target
Manage Audits
Ensure that all procedures are adhered to
Conduct house-keeping, always keeps work area clean and tidy
Record keeping
Provide regular statistical reports for the management
Plan, organise, assign, review and evaluate work performance
Training and management of the people working in Quality Assurance and overall education of quality requirements throughout the factory with appropriate responsibilities assigned
Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification (NQF 7)
Technical Skills
Production, Process Development, Product Industrialisation Knowledge about resolving issues related to tyre uniformity will be an advantage
Tyre evaluation testing process, Procedures and tyre failure analysis. Tyre construction knowledge is advantageous, Non-Conformance analysis and reporting
Soft Skills
Good computer literacy; ability to work in a team environment; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimum supervision; fluency in English is essential
Leadership experience in particular to manage macro projects that span the factory environment to drive the Quality Strategy
