Conducts and assesses training and development to ensure management and staff acquire the skills and develop the competencies required by an organisation to meet organisational objectives.
What you will do
Assess competence of operatives in the respective area; upgrades competence to the required level to support improvement in quality and output of product produced.
Arrange for legislative training to ensure Policy requirements are adhered to.
Communicate with employees and line management with regards to training to be conducted
Capture appropriate records onto the Learning Management System of all training to take place and training conducted to enable the production of various reports and the delivery of the Annual Training Report (ATR) as required by the merSETA
Supports the Company’s Strategy of continuous improvement towards world class manufacturing
Determine the current skills and consequently what skills development is required for the forthcoming year
