Prepares, sets and runs and monitors rubber manufacturing machinery and equipment to produce rubber products

• At the start of the shift, the service operators and Machine Setter and Minder checks which machines are running and which are off programme
• Test all safeties on the machine at the beginning of every shift and check that they are in working order
• Collect empty equipment e.g. breaker drums, stillages, drums and bobbins from making to where specified as per job
• Collects scrap to scrap area
• Weighs scrap at the end of the shift
